F.C. Tucker Company fights hunger through Souper Bowl of Caring
Local real estate leader joins food drive January 16 - February 5 to benefit Wheeler Mission
INDIANAPOLIS – Central Indiana residents and visitors are invited to participate in the National Souper Bowl of Caring by dropping off canned food items to one of F.C. Tucker’s 13 Central Indiana office locations.
The National Souper Bowl of Caring launches January 16 and continues through Super Bowl Sunday, February 5. Tucker offices will be open Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; Sunday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
In Central Indiana alone, 107,000 children live in poverty, and since 2005 the number of families seeking help for hunger relief in Indiana has increased by 46 percent.
“On February 5th, Indianapolis and central Indiana will achieve a milestone when we host the 46th Super Bowl at Lucas Oil Stadium” says Jim Litten, F.C. Tucker Company president. “At Tucker, our more than 1,300 real estate associates and employees see this as an opportunity to celebrate our Hoosier tradition of caring and service to those in need, and we hope others in the community will join us.”
All items collected through F.C.Tucker will be donated to Wheeler Mission to help central Indiana families.
